Court appearances follow woman's clinic death.

A doctor and two nurses from a Marie Stopes clinic have appeared in court charged with the manslaughter of an Irish woman who died hours after an abortion.

Aisha Chithira, 32, who was 22 weeks pregnant, died after the procedure at the Ealing clinic in January 2012.

The three:  Dr Adedayo Adedeji, 63, Gemma Pullen, 32, and Margaret Miller, 54, were released on bail to appear at the Old Bailey in July.

All three face charges of manslaughter by gross negligence and "failing to take reasonable care of the health and safety" of Ms Chithira who was affected by their "acts of omission at work".
