£10 million damages recovered in 2013.

The CNCI team can report that 2013 was their most successful year to date in terms of damages recovered for seriously injured Claimants. The team, who act exclusively on behalf of Claimants, recovered damages of almost £10 million for victims of clinical negligence and catastrophic injury.

Two of the most significant awards were as a result of brain injuries sustained following clinical negligence. The Claimants in those cases were a teenager and a man in his 30’s at the time of injury.

The CNCI team also recovered a 6 figure awards for several  Claimants and 5 figure awards for many individuals.

Speaking of the teams successes over the last year the head of the team, Richard Wood, said “2013 has been our most successful year on record. We are pleased we have been able to assist Claimants in their search for justice. It is sadly often the case that compensation awarded to Claimants cannot put right the wrongs they have suffered. Many face a lifetime of significant disability, pain and distress as a result of injuries. Nevertheless awards of compensation can provide some degree of financial stability in uncertain times.

The experience of the CNCI team in dealing with complex and high value claims ensures that Claimants can feel confident that they are being supported and assisted by professionals".
